Chef Mickey

This was taken at Chef Mickey's. We ate breakfast here and the characters come around and sign books and take photos with the kids...or whoever. The food was wonderful at Disney. We had plenty to eat at the restaurants down there. They presented the food really nice and they had a ton of it.We had the dining plan and I highly reccommend it, as the food is outrageous if you want to pay for it out of pocket.

The car Ride

Isaac took me for a car ride and I got whiplash so bad from his driving. I hope that he improves just a little bit before he gets his license! He just loved driving the car. Spencer drove Tom and he had fun as well. They were behind us so I don't have a real good photo of him driving...Isaac thought that he was really hot stuff in this car...

Mouse Hat

Well when you are in Disney it doesnt look weird if you want to wear mouse ears, in fact most people, regardless of age, wear them at the Magic Kingdom. It was fun to wear them and we each picked out a fun hat to wear during our stay. Spence opted out of the ears and went with the Buzz Lightyear cap to help with the bright sun.

Magic Kingdom

Well the castle was every bit as magical as I thought it was going to be. They make it look so wonderful all the time with shows during the day and tons of fireworks at night. It is a perfect entrance to the park and made the experience. Most of the princesses were walking with their princes during the time we were there. I guess this is the year of a million dreams celebration...

Disney

This is a photo taken on our first day at Disney. We went to MGM. It was so awesome and wonderful. They leave no detail undone. The boys had a great time and we were able to see a stunt show of Indiana Jones. They boys loved it when everything blew up of course. It was so neat to see how they make the movies and do all of the stunts...We had a great time and it was about 80 degrees down there...hummm.....cold here, warm there....

Photo with Santa

This is a photo of them with the best Santa in the
whole world. He takes time to be with them and talk to them. He really made an effort to know their names and to ask them what they wanted for Christmas. They loved it! He read them a story and asked them questions about the book he was reading to them...Way better than the "Mall" Santa that we traditionally use.

Christmas Photo 2006

Well they had this one done last year as well but I just loved it. I really love the way it looks for some reason. Here are my boys about 2 weeks ago when I took them to Sears and had their photos done. They did a pretty good job and didn't fight too much so I was pleased. Plus we were able to get right in and get them done. That always helps. I love them so much....

Spencer and Mom

Spencer and I had to get a photo as well. He is my lover. I have really been enjoying spending time with him now that school is done. I have been taking him to breakfast after we drop Isaac off at school and he has been a great help around the house by doing his own laundry and dishes (with mom's help of course). They spent some time outside running around enjoying the freedom to finally run.

Isaac and Mom

Isaac and I took a photo outside the center after graduation. I was happy that my boys were able to see me graduate. Isaac kept saying that he wanted to go to college to be a nurse. How wonderful would that be? That would be so neat. I told him whatever he wanted to be as long as he was happy doing it. He is a good kid and loves his mama.

Decorated Caps!

Many of us followed the tradition to decorate the tops of our caps with our degree. I had a party here at the house last week and we got together and had fun and decorated the caps. It was a chance to get together before we go out into the community and heal the sick.

Graduation Day!

Well, this is it. This is the big one that I have been waiting for! It took four long years to get here. I am so happy about this photo. I worked so hard and went through so much in the last few years. I was awarded the Outstanding Student award from the department of nursing. I was pretty happy about this. It was such a great day and my family and friends came to support me and I was thrilled to have them there. I feel so good about getting my education. The keynote speaker said that they can take everything from you but they can't take your education and that is so true. My mom has told me that quite often throughout my life. She has always said that to encourage me to go back to school. I now understand what she was talking about. She was so right. I have that and I can go anywhere and get a job and support myself if I had to. Thanks Mom!

Friends

This was taken tonight and it is a photo of me and my study buddies. I have spent a lot of time with Beatrice and Brian over the course of my years at the university. I think that they are wonderful students and friends. I will miss the camaraderie with everyone. And that's about all. I am so ready to move on with my life and get out there and start seeing patients.

Honors Convocation

This is my photo of tonight's honors convocation. This is a ceremony where we are presented with our "cords" to wear for graduation. I was arranging everyone and slid in on the end. My red sweater was shedding everywhere. Everything I touched had like a red glow to it. It was nuts.

My parents came along with my hubby and children. We had a good time and I was so happy to have my parents there. They have helped me out so much it is beyond measure. Without their help I would not be where I am today.

My new Camera

Well after the "camera" incident I got a new one and I was practicing on Spencer today. This is such a neat feature. What you can do is pick a color that you want in your black and white and set it and it will only pick up that color. Isn't that neat? Everyone loves these images so I will be adding more. I had fun taking photos of the little guy and learning about my new little camera that I absolutely love. Isn't he so sweet? I am biased I know.

Lilly at Halloween

This is a photo of my cute little niece Lilly. She also went out and about with us on Halloween. We just love her so much. When I pick the boys up from Grandmas I pretty much smother her with hugs and kisses. She is adorable!!!

HALLOWEEN

Here is a photo of my little men! Happy Halloween Boys! Isaac wanted to go as a pirate as in the Pirates of Caribbean. He thinks this movie is so cool-even though he hasn't seen it!!! Spencer went as my little night time bear-he was so snuggly! We had a good time and it was a nice night...chilly but at least we didn't have any rain.

COW CAKE

This is the cake that Isaac and Mom made for the Cake Bake for Boy Scouts. The theme this year is animals and you could make anything pertaining to animals. We decided to make a cow. The boys like to watch cow and chicken and this is the animal of choice this year. It was a lot of fun and the cakes will be auctioned off to raise money for the food bank to help with Thanksgiving costs. Speaking of Thanksgiving I am getting prepared for the biggest shopping day ever!! Cristine, Fay and I go out every year on BLACK FRIDAY! and shop until we drop. It is so unbelievable and we have so much fun.

My Guys

This is a great photo of my boys (in my expert mom opinion) taken in the early part of October. We were on our way to get Isaac's necherchief for cub scouts. The boys were playing together and they wanted this photo taken. They really do love each other. I am so happy about that. They have their days but for the most part they are good friends. Isaac takes good care of his mama, always asking me if I need anything and rubbing my neck when I get home from school and Spencer is my lover boy always telling me that I am as beautiful as a heart a rose and a butterfly. He always says those three things to me. I love my sons so much. They make my life full of joy!

The MEN

This is a photo of Grandpa and Spencer at Isaac's Sail Boat Regatta for cub scouts. Spencer just loves his hats with the tassel things on them. He also loves his Grandpa. He is a very good little boy with a huge heart. He cares so much about people. He is my little lover boy! This is a photo of Isaac and Tom. They had a great time together making the boat and sailing it together at the Regatta. They won the first heat and then on the second the boat kissed the side of the gutter and would not go anywhere. The point is that they had fun. Isaac was really happy to participate using all kinds of manly tools!

Cub Scouts

Isaac wanted to join cub scouts so we took him to the orientation to get his cub scout neckerchief. He was so excited and Spencer had a good time too. They are very good about making sure the other one is having fun. We had a good night and a little campfire to initiate the little guys in to the big league!!!

Graduation Photo

Well, here it is the graduation photo. It is about time, wouldn't you say? I know that a lot of you I haven't been in touch with in a long time-four years to be exact! I will be graduating in about 2 months and I couldn't be more happy. I will have my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Michigan. Things are going well except for the usual stress at school but nothing outside of that at the moment. Just keep plugging away!

These photos were taken this morning (9/2/06) just before we went on our walk. Isaac is so proud of himself now that Tom helped him ride his bike. He fell off if it last Fall and he was so scared to ride it all by himself this year. Tom was able to get him to ride down this little hill with no brakes and he was just thrilled with himself! He wanted me to take a ton of pictures so that he could see just how cool he looked going down the hill "so fast"!!!!!

Time for a Change

Well it is time for a change for us. This week has been so hard with the loss of our beautiful baby girl on Monday. I was 12 weeks exactly and I thought that I was in the safe zone. Sometimes crazy things happen to us. Each day gets a little easier but the pain is so great I know it will take a long time to be able to fully talk about it.
At any rate about a month ago I bought a bike and trailer along with helmets for each of us. We have all started to walk the neighborhood as well as get biking exercise every day. The boys love it and we have a good time as a family. Tom likes it as well because we are all walking or riding with him. I have been working out in the basement for nearly a year now and it really does help with stress from everything. Doing whatever it takes to get my body back in shape to try again as soon as possible. We still have our 3 frostie babies waiting for us. Really looking forward to it! I will keep you posted.

Comcast really Stinks!

Well I havent been able to post on here because I do not have cable and I am having such fun trying to deal with comcast to get it fixed let me tell you. I like that company just as much as I like Dell-and that should tell you a lot. I will be trying to post more regularly with the neighbors signal! Ha Ha

Boys at the Parade

This is my older boy watching the parade-or not! It was so hot and the boys have been drinking so much juice to prevent dehydration. They were running around the place like crazy men to get candy and trinkets from the parade goers! I love you boys!

Happy Fourth of July!!!

We went to the fourth of July parade in town and it was so nice-Spencer was my little Fredom Festival man. It was super hot out as usual and we went to the picnic lunch afterwards in the back of the community center. It was a good time yet again.

The Louvre

It was late by the time we got to the Louvre. I thought that it looked so cool though at night all lit up. The place is absolutely huge. It is sooo big you just cant imagine. There are so many wonderful works of art in there. The buildings are really beautiful as well. I got to the painting of the Mona Lisa and it was a lot smaller than I had anticipated and it is guarded and there are no photos allowed! I was bummed out about this but we had fun anyhow-totally exhausted but we had fun. A great place to go and visit if you have the opportunity!

Paris

I wanted to add some more of our photos from our trip to Europe. I have always wanted to see it but I was so scared to go there and not know what was going on and where to eat and all of that jazz. It was such a nice night and I decided to take this photo of the Eiffel Tower. We ate dinner on the second level of it and it was lovely! We were on our way to visit the Mona Lisa at the Louvre and Tom and I thought that this was such a neat photo op!!!! Paris is so much different than anywhere around here. The buildings are phenomenal! By the time we got to the airport in Paris and found out that the car we rented was not available we ended up with basically a "Chevette"-You should have seen 6 foot tall Tom get into that thing with the luggage and me! It was sooo funny and all we wanted to do was to sleep. It was a memorable time together. We had a lot of time to talk and I realized that he really, really deeply loves me.

Our Wedding Day-Con't

We had such a great day for our wedding. Tom and I are best friends and we always have so much fun together. Things are going so well and I am very happy. He is so sweet and he takes good care of me. We laugh about everything and we were just joking about that today by saying if you have something bothering you we will poke fun at it for ya until you feel better! It is just so great going through life with a person you consider your best friend, lover, step-dad, and soul mate!!!

We went to a local park and had some prewedding photos done and it was a lot of fun. Our photographer was a husband of a long time friend Fay. Fay and I met at McDonalds a looonngg time ago while I was in high school. Her husband Bill took the photos for us and he did a great job!

Memorial Weekend 2006

I took this photo of Spencer because it was so funny to see him running all over the beach like a wild guy playing in the water and having a good time. I was thinking how wonderful it would be to be a kid again and just have to worry about where I was going to splash around again! I love playing with the boys because it brings a certain sense of that back to "big people" life!!! We had fun although it was so chilly up there by lake Michigan....Brrrrr!

Tom and I took a trip up north as most people in Michigan do sometime over the summer and we went to Mackinaw City. We were going to go to the island but first of all there were about a billion May flies all over and second of all it was raining on Sunday when we got up so we went to traverse city instead. Isaac really loves the beach and him and Spencer were just running all over like little wild men. It was so funny. They really had a good time. Oh happy Memorial Weekend!!!

Tanya and Thomas

This is a photo taken May 20, 2006 and it is on our official wedding day. We had 30 of our close friends and family attend a small wedding service at the Historic Holly Hotel. It was a wonderful evening. Tom has loved me for a long time and I never even knew it. We work together at the dental office and it took him nearly five years to tell me that he really loved me and he wanted to be with me. He was worried about what I would think and he is definitely old school when it comes to dating and women. We had a really perfect day after a little over a week of rain. My life is going so well and I love him so much!

Salisbury Cathedral-England

Tom and I went to England and this was really one of the most beautiful cathedrals that I have ever seen. It was restored well. I think that it is amazing that in the United States we would have plowed it down ten years ago to put up a Wal mart! England was so beautiful-I really liked it there. We were able to see so many wonderful things.

We get to scrub in---Finally!

This photo was taken of me and my good friend Ellie just before a surgery that we were going in on. Getting through nursing school is no easy job. We have been through a very stressful semester and we will be so glad when it is all over with and we can just sit and relax-I mean only work-not school and work-We will be graduating from the University of Michigan on December 17th, 2006! (and not a moment too soon!)

My Little Men

This is a photo of my wonderful boys playing in the closet looking ever so cute. I just love them and they were sitting in the closet just trying to have fun and while I was getting ready in the morning they kept caling me to look at them and when I did this is what they were doing...They are good to each other...most of the time.

This is a photo of me and my wonderful boy Spencer! We were at a friends house and I was photographing his family and he wanted his photo taken with his mama. He has a cute smile and wonderful little dimple!!! I love my boys so much!

Isaac

This is a photo of my big boy Isaac. He is my encourager child. He is always telling me that I am the best mom a boy could have! He is so funny. He says stuff and I have no idea where he is getting it from. I love him so much and he is really doing well at school. We have been working with him on his numbers and he is really improved. I am so glad that I am able to stay home a few more days a week this year due to Tom helping out. Isaac loves playing board games during family game night. He is very competitive. He is a lover-always wants to hug me and say that he loves me. He is a great kid! He also takes really good care of Spencer by helping him to the "potty" and getting him a snack whenever he gets one!

Here is a black and white of my little boy "Spence" as we nick named him. He is so wonderful and full of love. He is a gentle soul and he is very tender hearted! He is a super lover and is always waiting for Isaac to make the first move on everything before he makes his move. He sure loves his big brother! He has been going on the "potty" and it has been so good. Aunt Jame and Grandma give him money when he goes and he gets so excited! (They are going broke but he loves it). I can't ever get enough kissing on this little guy!

Adding a new member to our family

I am a proud anutie of Lillian Grace Furline! I am so happy to be her aunt. The boys are so excited about seeing her and knowing what is going on with her. She is a beautiful little girl. She had a rough delivery and she was in ICU for a bit and she got a little scratch on her face from the NG tube but she is the sweetest little baby and she has a ton of pink stuff! Jame and Mike are so happy to have her as well as the rest of the family...

My Man

Here is a photo of me and my very best friend-Tom. I love him so much and we have a really great relationship. This photo was taken at the Roman Baths in England-I really liked it there and thought that this was a very worthwhile site to visit. We had a great visit and got to see so many beautiful things. We have so much fun together and we are always laughing about something. I am sooo glad that I found him...eeerrr that he found me. He is a wonderful man and my life is very happy!

My Boys

Well here is a photo of my children at Christmas. I just love this fun shot of them as we were getting ready for Christmas day to come. I love that time of year. I get to play like a child with them and bake cookies and lick frosting with them. They are so much fun to be with. I love them sooooo much!
