First Day at Genesys!

This photo was taken on Jan. 9th and it is a memoir of my first day working as a real nurse! It was so exciting. I was so thrilled to be with my fellow classmates and learn together. In order is Trari, Emily, Me, Denise and Topaz. I had a good journey through school with them and now a good start to a good career.
I took the NCLEX on Feb. 19th 2007 and it was the worst test of my entire life. I felt like I prepared so well for it and when I got in there I was shocked! I felt like I didn't know what they were talking about and the medications they asked were nuts! I thought that I failed it for sure but lo and behold I passed it!!! I freaking passed it!!!! Now it stands...

Ambulatory surgery nurses

Well these are the great nurses of Ambulatory surgery that helped me to be the best nurse I can be! I love them and they really are great! I started to work with them last summer and I worked there while I was an extern. I learned a lot and they mean a lot to me. They helped to shape me to be a real world nurse...love them for that.....

Building a car

Isaac went to Dominic's house to help build a soap box type car for the scout fun day that is coming up in April. He had a lot of fun and the dads were a great help in telling the boys what everything was and how to use a drill. Each boy got to use a real drill! They were thrilled.

Having fun

Here are all the rug rats playing outside this winter. They have so much fun running from yard to yard getting on all of the climbing equipment. Good friends!

Winter Fun

This photo was taken a few weeks ago with the neighbor kids-Cameron and Taylor. The boys get along with these kids so well. They are the same ages respectively and they are always playing outside. Even in the winter!

So Busy

Well time is really going by fast it seems. Trying to learn everything at Genesys and finally passing the exam I have waited four years to complete!!! Yeah! Anyhow-I really can't believe it is going to be Friday again! We are going to see Barnyard at our new church tonight. The boys have really wanted to see that movie. School is going well...loving the grad classes. Lots of good information and it really helps me with my patients. Always good to get educated about something. Life lessons are the biggest I think. Anyhow, I love my job and I am so happy I chose nursing as my profession. I really enjoy my patients and I feel like I am making a difference for them. I do have some photos that I will be displaying soon.
Tom and I are doing well. He is so good to me and we have a wonderful relationship. Lots of laughing and playing going on in our home. He is a great person and a loving husband to have. I have finally found happiness and it was there all along! Imagine that!
